Meet the Agency Dogs: A Fun Illustration + Animation Series
There are agency dogs… and then there are Agency Dogs™ — the kind who show up early, take “calls,” and absolutely believe they deserve corner offices.
What started as a fun internal joke turned into a full illustrated and animated cast: wine dates, Zoom meetings, office gossip, performance reviews, and one dog who treats the Mascot of the Year award like the Oscars. It’s impossible not to stop and think, “Hold on… is that dog running payroll?”
The Concept: Dogs Doing Agency Things
The idea was simple:
What if the agency’s four-legged coworkers actually worked there?
From there, each illustration became its own tiny story:
Dogs on a wine date (creative brainstorm, obviously)
A pup studying a Pantone book like his entire campaign depends on picking the right shades of brown and beige.
A dog at a laptop, deep into analytics or—let’s be honest—chewing on a project brief
An official Mascot of the Year portrait
A burger-lunch meeting with a client (who may or may not know it’s a dog-run agency)
The receptionist dog, greeting visitors with impeccable customer service and an overflowing treat jar (with a squirrel-watching break, because some distractions are unavoidable)
Two agency icons taking a Zoom call like the seasoned professionals they are.
The Style: Editorial Linework With Warm Personality
I used expressive linework, soft digital shading, and a restrained color palette to keep everything clean yet full of charm.
The goal was to make the illustrations feel:
Professional enough for client-facing use
Fun enough to live on the website and team swag
Distinct enough to work as a mini brand within a brand
From Illustrations to Animation
Each dog was separated into movable layers, prepped for motion, and brought to life with small movements that match their personalities — ear twitches, head tilts, typing paws, and blink cycles that give them just enough character. It's the kind of playful branding element clients always remember.
Why This Project Was So Fun
Projects like this are my sweet spot: personality-packed and just absurd enough to be memorable.
It’s a mix of storytelling, illustration, and motion design — and a reminder that branded moments don’t have to be rigid or serious to make an impact.
