Brand Board and Logo Design for the Dive Bar

A dive bar is a place that should have good beer, feel like it has been permanently etched into the landscape, and a bartender who calls you “Hun”. The Dive Bar is located in St. Thomas, USVI. The name, while hinting to scuba diving, refers to a dive bar where the people who live on, work on and operate boats for a living will hang out. It is also meant to be a comfortable escape for locals who want to drink beer away from the tourists that invade the island from October to April. With that in mind, the branding needed to have a vintage and hand drawn feel in order to help portray the idea of an old-school hangout for the laid-back marina crowd. As the crowd settles in, we hope they'll forget the mob of tourists just around the corner.
