Wedding Map & Itinerary Creator Kit: Custom Maps and Timelines Without Custom Pricing

Wedding invitations need maps.

Ceremony locations, reception venues, hotel blocks, parking—guests need to know where things are. And if you're doing a full day timeline or a "love story" map showing how you met, got engaged, and ended up here, you need illustrated elements that don't look like generic clip art.

Commissioning custom illustration isn't realistic for most couples or designers. But generic templates feel generic.

So I built something in between.

So I built a kit that fixes that. The Wedding Map Creator Kit is available now on Creative Market.

What the Wedding Map & Itinerary Creator Kit Actually Is

It's a library of over 200 illustrated elements designed specifically for wedding maps, timelines, and invitations.

Buildings in multiple architectural styles. Venue types (churches, barns, hotels, gardens). Transportation (cars, limos, carriages, scooters). Wedding-specific icons (cakes, rings, dresses, tuxedos). Roads, highways, lakes, rivers, land shapes. Plus world maps, US states, and individual countries if your story spans locations.

Everything's drawn in the same clean, editorial style. Nothing overly cutesy. Nothing that screams "wedding clip art."

It's designed to feel custom without being custom.

What You Can Make With It

Ceremony and reception location maps. Hotel and parking directions. Save-the-date maps. Invitation inserts. Day-of timeline graphics. "Our love story" illustrated timelines showing where you met, dated, got engaged, and married. Multi-venue event maps. Rehearsal dinner directions.

The kit includes enough variety to represent different venue types, regional styles, and personal stories without forcing everything into one aesthetic. Destination wedding? Local church ceremony? Urban loft reception? The elements flex.

Who This Is For

  • Wedding planners and coordinators creating maps and itineraries for clients.

  • Stationers and invitation designers offering map inserts or custom timeline cards.

  • DIY brides and grooms building their own wedding materials in Canva.

  • Graphic designers who get occasional wedding projects and don't want to start from scratch.

  • Anyone trying to communicate "here's where we are and how we got here" in a way that feels thoughtful and personal.

How It Works

  • All elements come as high-resolution raster files (JPG and PNG, up to 3000px), plus the original vector files (AI and EPS). Includes pre-made 5x7 card templates in both Illustrator and Photoshop if you want a starting point.

  • For designers: Import into Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Affinity, or your software of choice. Fully editable. Customize colors, scale, arrangement.

  • For Canva users: Upload the PNG files and build directly in Canva. Drag, layer, arrange, add your own text and colors. No design software required.

The templates give you structure. The individual elements give you flexibility. Use what you need, skip what you don't.

Why I Made This

Because wedding maps shouldn't cost $500.

I wanted something that felt hand-illustrated and editorial—polished enough for professional printing, flexible enough for DIY, and specific enough to tell your actual story without requiring fully custom work.

This kit is what I'd want if I were planning a wedding and needed something that looked intentional without adding another line item to the budget.
